The classic Ottoman gemstone ring design has been reinterpreted by replacing the stone in the center with plain silver.
This intervention alters the meaning of the design. The stone, traditionally defining the ring's identity, is removed, and the center is transformed into a surface representing absence rather than presence. The form is familiar, but the interpretation is reversed.
Handcrafted in the workshop, YOK is a sculptural ring built around a central idea, radically simplifying and reinterpreting the signet tradition.
